≪ IVI attended Japan-China Smart Manufacturing Seminar ≫

In response to a request of attendance by Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Prof. Nishioka, IVI president, attended the 3rd Japan-China Smart Manufacturing Seminar held in Beijing, China on December 20. He introduced an overview of IVI and Business model development project for data transaction using “Connected Industries Open Framework (CIOF)” in a panel discussion, “Application of new technologies in smart manufacturing, utilization of a platform of cooperative companies”. CIOF had been already known in China, and were highly evaluated by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Industry in China (similar to Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry in Japan). There was a feeling that there would be activities in standardization and business chances there in future.
