Notice of CIOF Practical Seminar 2020 (October 1, 2020)

  It is getting important to connect companies by data exchange in this coronavirus affection time. IVI has almost finalized the specifications for CIOF (Connected Industries Open Framework) version 2, which embodies the concept of Connected Industries of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and is preparing for a demonstration experiment from this autumn.

  We will introduce CIOF, which will be a basis for data connection among companies in order to create an ecosystem of companies for IT systems and solutions, from every kind of aspects and hope to offer an opportunity to start the ecosystem by CIOF Practical Seminar 2020.

【Part 1】 CIOF as a basis for data distribution among companies

 Companies can improve their ways to offer their software and IT solutions to their customers and business models which make relationship between the customers and themselves by Digital Transformation. The lecture is about use cases which CIOF will realize for manufacturing industry and business model change of companies which join CIOF.

【Part 2】 Overview of CIOF architecture and System implementation procedure

   The lecture is about internal functions and structures to realize CIOF functions, especially about important concepts and architecture, for engineers who develop IT systems. Also, about API, software development environment and the steps required for companies, which develop software for users in the field of manufacturing, to comply CIOF.
