▼ Regarding the handling of personal information

IVI recognizes the importance of protecting personal information and considers it an important social responsibility to handle such information appropriately and to manage it safely. In order to fulfill this responsibility, IVI has established the following personal information protection policy and ensures that all related parties are aware of it.

1. Acquisition of personal information

IVI acquires personal information by lawful and fair means. When acquiring personal information, IVI shall clearly state the purpose of such acquisition and shall, in principle, do so based on the intention of the provider.

2.Use of personal information

IVI will use personal information within the scope of the purpose of use indicated at the time of acquisition and to the extent necessary for IVI’s activities. However, IVI may use or provide personal information for purposes other than those for which it was obtained in any of the following cases

(1) When required by law

(2) When there is consent from the provider

(3) When the handling of personal information is entrusted to a third party to the extent necessary to achieve the business purpose

(4) When there are other legitimate reasons to achieve the business plan approved by the Board of Directors

3.Management of personal information

IVI stores personal information under strict control and takes appropriate precautions against loss, destruction, alteration, leakage, unauthorized access, and other risks. However, personal information disclosed or made public by the provider itself is not subject to control.

4.Disclosure, correction, suspension of use, and deletion of personal information

IVI will confirm that the individual has the right to request disclosure, correction, suspension of use, or deletion of his/her own personal information, and will promptly respond to such requests without objection.

5.Compliance with laws and regulations

IVI complies with laws and other rules regarding personal information.

6.Changes to the privacy policy

Changes may be made to the Privacy Policy at any time without notice to comply with changes in the law or for any other reason. The most current version of the Privacy Policy will always apply to personal information collected by IVI. Any such changes will be posted on the web site and will be effective on the date of posting.
