Regional seminar

The regional seminars have been held since 2016 with the aim of deploying IVI methods to local small and medium-sized manufacturing companies and creating a network of small and medium-sized manufacturing companies in the region. The seminars are held jointly with local governments and industrial support groups in the region, and started in 2016, with 468 participants from 351 companies attending by 2020. Seminars were held in Tottori, Iwate, and Thailand, using both real and online seminars in 2020, though there was Coronavirus epidemic. In addition to the traditional face-to-face seminar method, we also developed a program that can be held online using digital tools. Along with the seminars, we hold events to honor regional awards related to case studies from various regions and exchange meetings with regional organizations to expand our network.
